In this tutorial you will turn on the AI features, and see where they show up for employers and job seekers. You need WP Career Board Pro, and a key from an AI provider. It takes about three minutes. There are six steps. Open AI Settings. Choose your providers. Add your key. Set the options. Then see where employers, and job seekers, find it. Step one. Open AI Settings. Go to Career Board, then Settings, and click AI Settings. It is a Pro tab. AI is optional, and everything works without it. It adds candidate matching, application ranking and smart embeddings. Step two. Choose your providers. The pills show what is on. Here, both are off. Analysis and ranking powers ranking, job descriptions and cover letters. Pick Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Ollama on your own server. Matching needs OpenAI or Ollama, because Claude has no embeddings. One OpenAI key can cover both. Step three. Add your key. Paste the key for your provider in its field. The link below each field shows where to create one. Ollama needs no key, only its address. Then pick a model. A lower tier costs less. Step four. Set the options. Auto-score applicants on submit scores each new application in the background, with one model call each. The AI-use notice tells applicants that AI may help review them. New sites start with it on. Then click Save AI Settings. Once matching is on, Index existing jobs adds your older jobs to it, one time. Step five. Where employers see it. Now you are signed in as an employer, on Post a Job. Once the Analysis and ranking provider has its key, Generate with AI shows beside Job description. It writes a draft from the job title. In Applications, Rank by AI fit shows above the list. It scores each applicant from zero to a hundred, with a short reason. Step six. Where job seekers see it. Now you are signed in as a job seeker. In the apply panel, Write with AI shows beside Cover letter. It drafts a letter from their resume and the job. None of these buttons show until the Analysis and ranking provider has its key, so this site shows them nowhere yet. That is all six. Open AI Settings, choose your providers, add your key, set the options, and see where employers and job seekers find it. You can now turn on the AI features.
