In this tutorial you will show your jobs on a map, so visitors can find jobs near them. You need WP Career Board Pro, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are three steps. Choose the map provider. Open the Job Map. Then search near a place. Step one. Choose the map provider. Go to Career Board, then Settings, Integrations, and scroll to Map settings. OpenStreetMap is free and needs no key. Google Maps needs an API key, and Mapbox an access token. The provider turns places into map points. The map itself looks the same. If you change it, add the key, and click Save Integrations. Step two. Open the Job Map. The setup wizard makes this page. As a visitor, each job is a pin, and a number groups jobs close together. Click a pin to see the job, its company and place, with a link to the job. The list beside the map shows the jobs in view. A job gets its pin from its location, a little after it is saved. Remote jobs have no pin. Step three. Search near a place. Type a city or postcode, such as London. Pick how far to look, from five to a hundred kilometres. Twenty five is the default. Click Search. The map moves to that place and lists the jobs nearby. That is all three. Choose the map provider, open the Job Map, and search near a place. You can now show your jobs on a map.
