Transcript

In this tutorial you will manage the employer accounts on your job board. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Employers. Read an employer's row. Open their account or company. Ban an employer if you must. Then add an employer. Step one. Open Employers. Go to Career Board, then Employers. Every account with the Employer role is listed. Search by name, email or company to find one fast. Step two. Read an employer's row. You see their company, its website, how many jobs are live, and whether the account is active. An employer who runs more than one company has each one listed, and the main one is marked main. Step three. Open their account or company. Point at a row. Edit opens their WordPress profile. View company opens their company page on the site. Click a company name to edit that company in the admin. Step four. Ban an employer if you must. Ban acts at once. The account loses every job board feature, and their live jobs and company page leave the site. Their status then reads Banned. Unban puts back exactly what the ban took down. Step five. Add an employer. Add New, on Employers, opens the WordPress Add User screen. Fill in their details, then choose the Employer role. Then click Add User. Employers can also sign up on their own, from your employer sign-up page. That is all five. Open Employers, read an employer's row, open their account or company, ban an employer if you must, and add an employer. You can now manage employer accounts. Next in this series: Manage candidate accounts.
