Transcript

In this tutorial you will let employers search resumes to find candidates, and choose who may browse them. You need WP Career Board Pro, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Choose who can browse. Open Find Candidates. Search and filter. Then open or save a resume. Step one. Choose who can browse. Go to Career Board, then Settings, Resumes. Candidate directory visibility sets who can open Find Candidates. Anyone, signed-in members only, or only employers you approve on their user profile. Anyone is the default. Single resume visibility does the same for each resume page. Then click Save Resume Settings. Step two. Open Find Candidates. Now you are signed in as an employer. Only resumes that candidates made public are listed. Each card shows a photo, a job title, a place and skills. Step three. Search and filter. Type a word, such as designer. Every word you type must appear in the resume. You can also pick a skill, or an experience level, from Entry level to Lead or Principal. Click Search. The list shows only the candidates who match. Step four. Open or save a resume. The bookmark on a card saves it, so you can find it again from your employer dashboard. View resume opens the full resume, with the candidate's experience, education and skills. That is all four. Choose who can browse, open Find Candidates, search and filter, and open or save a resume. You can now search resumes to find candidates. Next in this series: Show jobs on a map.
