Transcript

In this tutorial you will post a job from the front end of your website, with the four-step job form. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about four minutes. There are three steps. Open the job form. Fill in the form. Then see where the job goes. Step one. Open the job form. You are signed in as an employer. In the employer dashboard, click Post a job. The form has four parts, shown across the top: Basics, Details, Categories and Preview. Step two. Fill in the form. Part one is the basics. If you run more than one company, choose the company. With Pro, you can also choose the board to post to. Type the job title, then describe the role in the Job description box. Click Next: Details. Part two is the pay and the deadline. Enter the lowest and highest salary. The deadline is filled in for you. You can add an Apply URL or an Apply Email here too, if candidates should apply outside your site. Click Next: Categories. Part three sorts the job. Pick a category, a job type, a location and an experience level, and add tags. Click Preview Job. Part four is the preview. Check the job, then click Post Job. Step three. See where the job goes. Most sites review new jobs first. Open My Jobs, and look at the Pending chip. A job waits there until the site approves it, and you get an email when it does. If the site publishes at once, it goes live straight away. That is all three. Open the job form, fill in the form, and see where the job goes. You can now post a job from your website. Next in this series: Use the one-page job form.
