Transcript

In this tutorial you will use the one-page job form, a quick way to post a job with no steps to click through. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Open the one-page form. Describe the role. Classify the job and set the pay. Then say how candidates apply. Step one. Open the one-page form. It is the Job Form Single-Page block, placed on any page of your site. You are signed in as an employer. It holds the whole job on one screen. Add it to a page with the block, or with a shortcode. Step two. Describe the role. Choose the company. With Pro and more than one board, a Post to Board list shows above it. Type the job title, and describe the role in the Job description box. Step three. Classify the job and set the pay. Pick a category, a job type, a location and an experience level from your site lists. Add tags, separated by commas, so candidates can find the job. Then the salary range, with a lowest and a highest figure, and the deadline. The deadline is filled in for you, and you can only pick an earlier one. Step four. Say how candidates apply. Leave these empty for the on-site form, or add an Apply URL or an Apply Email. With Pro, extra fields from your Field Builder show here too, and you can feature the job with credits. When you are ready, click Post Job. The job goes to review, or goes live, depending on your site. That is all four. Open the one-page form, describe the role, classify the job and set the pay, and say how candidates apply. You can post a job from one page. Next in this series: Edit, close and reopen your jobs.
