How to match WP Career Board to your brand: the Brand tab's colour and logo, which appear on every job board email and in the app, the Content Width setting under Advanced, and a preview of a branded email.
Transcript
In this tutorial you will match the job board to your brand, with your colour and logo on its emails, and pages as wide as the rest of your site. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the Brand tab. Pick your brand colour. Add your logo. Set the page width. Then preview a branded email. Step one. Open Settings, Brand. Go to Career Board, then Settings, and click Brand, in the Emails and App group. One colour and one logo are used on your job board emails and the app. Your website itself follows your theme. Step two. Pick your brand colour. Click the colour box next to Brand Colour, and choose your colour. It paints the email header and the app buttons. Pick a colour that white text reads well on. Step three. Add your logo. Click Choose Image and pick it from your media library. A wide image, around four hundred by one hundred and twenty pixels, works best. The logo is shown at the top of every email. Then click Save changes. Step four. Set the page width. Click Advanced, in the Site group. Content Width sets how wide the job board pages run. Leave it at zero to follow your theme, which suits most sites. Enter a width only if the job board pages should differ from the rest of your site. Step five. Preview a branded email. Click Emails. In the list of email templates, click Edit on any row. Click Preview. The email opens below, with your brand colour across the header. Without a logo, the header shows your site name. Preview sends nothing. That is all five. Open the Brand tab, pick your colour, add your logo, set the page width, and preview a branded email. Your job board now carries your brand.
