Transcript

In this tutorial you will bring jobs you already have into WP Career Board. You need the free WP Career Board plugin. The CSV step needs WP Career Board Pro. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Open Settings, Import. Move jobs from WP Job Manager. Import jobs from a CSV file, with Pro. Or start with sample data. Step one. Open Settings, Import. Go to Career Board, then Settings, and click Import. Every import here is safe to run more than once. Anything already brought in is skipped. Step two. Move jobs from WP Job Manager. Keep WP Job Manager active while you import. Here it reads Plugin not active, because this site never used it. It brings over the title, location, salary, deadline, company pages, categories and more. Once it is active, the card counts your jobs and shows Import All Jobs. With Pro, resumes come too. Step three. Import jobs from a CSV file, with Pro. Click Download Sample CSV to get a file with the right columns. Column Reference lists them all. Only the title is required. Choose your file and click Upload and Import. Jobs without a status column come in as Pending, so you can check them before they go live. Step four. Or start with sample data. On a new site with nothing to import, Install Sample Data adds demo jobs, companies and candidates to explore. You can remove it again at any time, from this same tab. That is all four. Open Settings, Import, move jobs from WP Job Manager, import jobs from a CSV file with Pro, or start with sample data. You can now move your jobs into WP Career Board. Next in this series: Run more than one job board.
