Transcript

In this tutorial you will give a trusted member the Job moderator role, and see what they can do. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Give the role. Find your moderators. See what the moderator sees. Then review jobs as the moderator. Step one. Give the role. Go to Users, and open the member who will review jobs. Under Role, choose Job moderator. Then click Update User, at the foot of the page. The role lets them review jobs. It does not open your Career Board settings. Step two. Find your moderators. On the Users screen, click Job moderator to list everyone who has the role. To take the role away, open the member again and pick their earlier role. Step three. What the moderator sees. Now sign in as the moderator. Their dashboard names them as a Job moderator. Review jobs, in the menu, takes them straight to the jobs waiting. Step four. Review jobs as the moderator. They see the Pending Review list, with Approve and Reject on each job. They can also dismiss reports on flagged jobs. They cannot edit or delete jobs, or open your settings. Those stay with you. That is all four. Give the role, find your moderators, see what the moderator sees, and review jobs as the moderator. You can now give someone the Job Moderator role. Next in this series: Set up the job board emails.
