In this tutorial you will let people install your job board as an app, from their browser. You need WP Career Board Pro, installed and active. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Open the PWA settings. Turn on Installable app. Set the app colour. Then see what happens when BuddyNext runs the app. Step one. Open the PWA settings. Go to Career Board, then Settings, Integrations, and scroll to PWA settings. Step two. Turn on Installable app. It is off on a new site. Switch it on, and browsers can offer to add your job board to the home screen. Here it is already on, and the note under it is for sites that run BuddyNext, which step four explains. On a site without BuddyNext, the note under the switch says: pages always load fresh. Only pages shown to signed-out visitors are kept, for when the visitor is offline. Then click Save Integrations, at the foot of the tab. Step three. Set the app colour. The app uses your Brand colour, the same as your emails. Click the Settings, Brand link. Pick your colour next to Brand Colour, and save that tab. Step four. When BuddyNext runs the app. A site has one app. When BuddyNext's own app is on, as here, your job pages become part of it, and this switch has no effect. Either way, visitors can install your job board from their browser. That is all four. Open the PWA settings, turn on Installable app, set the app colour, and see what happens when BuddyNext runs the app. You can now let people install your job board as an app. Next in this series: Charge employers credits to post jobs.
