Transcript
In this tutorial you will make your resume public, so employers can find you on the job board. You need WP Career Board Pro, with the free WP Career Board plugin. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Open your resume. Turn on Public. See your resume page. Then find it in Find Candidates. Step one. Open your resume. You are signed in as a job seeker. In your candidate dashboard, open the resume in the builder. Beside Save resume, at the top, is a box called Public. It is off for every new resume. Step two. Turn on Public. Tick the box. It takes effect straight away, with no need to save. The note below says your resume now shows in the candidate directory and search. Untick it, and only you and employers you apply to can see it. Step three. See your resume page. A public resume has its own page. This is what a visitor sees. It shows your photo, headline and place, then your summary, experience, education, skills and languages. Public Resume in your dashboard menu opens it. Step four. Find it in Find Candidates. Employers search public resumes here, by skill, experience and place. Your card is in the list. The site owner chooses who can browse this page, under Settings, Resumes. That is all four. Open your resume, turn on Public, see your resume page, and find it in Find Candidates. You can now make your resume public. Next in this series: Print a resume or save it as a PDF.
