How to Bring Your Job Board into BuddyNext in WP Career Board

How to bring your WP Career Board job board into a BuddyNext community: check that BuddyNext shows Connected under Career Board, then Settings, then Integrations, open Manage Jobs from an employer's Portfolio to reach the employer dashboard, open Manage Resume from a job seeker's Portfolio to reach the candidate dashboard, and see a new application as a notice in the employer's bell. The Jobs and Resume lists on profiles come from BuddyNext Pro; the Resume list also needs WP Career Board Pro. In this tutorial you will bring your job board into a BuddyNext community, so members reach it from their profiles and their bell. You need BuddyNext Pro, with BuddyNext and WP Career Board. The resume part also needs WP Career Board Pro. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Check BuddyNext is connected. Manage jobs from a profile. Manage a resume from a profile. Then see applications in the bell. Step one. Check BuddyNext is connected. Go to Career Board, then Settings, Integrations. The BuddyNext card reads Connected when BuddyNext is active. Career Board then works with your member profiles and activity feed. The profile and feed parts come from BuddyNext Pro. Step two. Manage jobs from a profile. Now you are signed in as an employer, on her own profile. Under Portfolio, Jobs lists the jobs she has open. Only she sees Manage Jobs. Click it, and her employer dashboard opens, with her jobs and applicants. Step three. Manage a resume from a profile. Now you are signed in as a job seeker. With Career Board Pro, a public resume shows under Portfolio, Resume. Only he sees Manage Resume. Click it, and his candidate dashboard opens, where his resume and applications live. Step four. See applications in the bell. The bell is BuddyNext's own, so it works without BuddyNext Pro. Signed in as the employer again, she clicks the bell in the header. When someone applies for one of her jobs, a notice appears. With WP Career Board Pro, it names the applicant and the job. It opens the applicants for that job.
