In this tutorial you will add a CAPTCHA to your job board forms, on top of the spam trap that is always on. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. See the protection you have. Choose a CAPTCHA provider. Add both keys. Then set how visitors reach you, and save. Step one. See the protection you have. Go to Career Board, then Settings, Anti-Spam. A hidden trap field is always on, on the job, application and sign-up forms. A CAPTCHA adds a second layer for busy sites. Step two. Choose a CAPTCHA provider. Open CAPTCHA Provider. The choices are None, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google reCAPTCHA version three, and version two. Turnstile is the one the plugin recommends. It is fast, private and free. Step three. Add both keys. Create them in your provider's account, then paste the Site key and Secret key into that provider's card. Both keys are needed. With either one missing, the forms keep the trap field only. For reCAPTCHA version three, the score threshold starts at zero point five. Step four. Set how visitors reach you, and save. Sign-ups and guest applications are limited per visitor address. Your site runs behind tells the plugin where to read it. Leave it on Direct connection unless your site really sits behind a service such as Cloudflare. Then click Save Anti-Spam Settings. That is all four. See the protection you have, choose a CAPTCHA provider, add both keys, and set how visitors reach you, and save. Your job board forms are now protected from spam.
