Transcript

In this tutorial you will follow your job applications, read their status, and withdraw one you no longer want. You need the free WP Career Board plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Open My Applications. Read each status. Withdraw an application. Then check your Overview. Step one. Open My Applications. You are signed in as a job seeker. In your candidate dashboard, click My Applications. Every job you applied to is listed, newest first, with the company and the date you applied. Click a job title to open the job. Step two. Read each status. The badge on the right shows where the employer has got to. You see statuses such as Submitted, Reviewing, Shortlisted, Not selected and Hired. This one says Hired. You get an email each time the employer moves you on, so you do not need to keep checking. Step three. Withdraw an application. Click the menu on the row of a job you no longer want. Click Withdraw, then confirm. The row stays in your list as Withdrawn, the employer is told, and you can apply to that job again later. You can withdraw until there is an outcome, so a hired row has no menu. The site owner can also turn withdrawing off, under Settings, Applications. Step four. Check your Overview. The first screen of the dashboard counts your applications, and how many are shortlisted. Below, Recent Applications shows your latest ones with their status. View all opens the full list. That is all four. Open My Applications, read each status, withdraw an application, and check your Overview. You can now track and withdraw your applications. Next in this series: Manage your candidate profile and account.
