How to Take Payment by Stripe or PayPal in WP Career Board

How to take payment for job posting credits by Stripe or PayPal in WP Career Board Pro, with no store plugin: open Settings, then Credits, then Direct payment gateways, add the Webhook URL and its events in your Stripe dashboard or PayPal app, switch the gateway on, choose Test, Sandbox or Live, paste your keys, and click Save Credit Settings. Employers then buy credit packs from the Credits tab of their dashboard and pay on the hosted Stripe or PayPal page; the webhook adds the credits, and a refund in the provider dashboard takes them back. Use test keys first. The packs themselves are set under Credit packs and pricing.

In this tutorial you will take payment for credits by Stripe or PayPal. You need WP Career Board Pro, installed and active, and a Stripe or PayPal account. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Open Direct payment gateways. Connect Stripe. Connect PayPal. Then save and test. Step one. Open Direct payment gateways. Go to Career Board, then Settings, Credits, and scroll to Direct payment gateways. Employers pay on the Stripe or PayPal page, so card details never reach your site. There is one block for each. Step two. Connect Stripe. Click Stripe to open it. First copy the Webhook URL into your Stripe dashboard. Subscribe it to the three events listed. Without the webhook, employers can pay but never receive their credits. Then switch on Enable Stripe, and choose Test or Live under Mode. Start in Test. Paste your publishable key, your secret key, and the webhook signing secret from Stripe. They are empty on this site. Step three. Connect PayPal. Click PayPal to open it. Add its Webhook URL to your PayPal app, with the three events listed. Switch on Enable PayPal, and choose Sandbox or Live under Mode. Then paste the Client ID, the Client secret and the Webhook ID from your PayPal app. Step four. Save and test. Click Save Credit Settings, below the gateways. Once a gateway has its keys and you have credit packs, employers see Buy Credits on their Credits tab. After they pay, the webhook adds the credits to their balance. If you refund a payment in Stripe or PayPal, the credits it gave are taken back. Test with test keys before you switch to Live. That is all four. Open Direct payment gateways, connect Stripe, connect PayPal, and save and test. Employers can now pay for credits by Stripe or PayPal.
